Chiropractic Care
Your brain controls everything your body does, all the way down to the tiniest cells, by way of your nervous system. Your nervous system carries messages between your brain and body, so it is imperative that your nervous system functions optimally to deliver those messages properly. Since your nerves branch out from the spinal cord between the bones of your spine, if those bones become misaligned, they can interfere with the nerves and the messages they carry.
Our Techniques
At Roots Chiropractic, we focus on Upper Cervical Specific Care, which addresses the top two vertebrae of the spine. We offer Knee Chest Upper Cervical, as well as Toggle Recoil. We are one of a select few Knee Chest providers in the East Valley.
There are clinical reasons why other adjusting techniques may be necessary. In those instances, we offer Palmer’s package of adjusting techniques. Dr. Lauren is also certified in the Webster Technique for prenatal care.
We use the Tytron Thermography Scanner, which is a non-invasive scan that allows us to assess your nervous system function to determine when you need an adjustment and when you don’t.
As the name implies, Upper Cervical Specific Care relies on highly specific and precise adjustments. To achieve this level of precision, we take digital X-rays and measure them down to the millimeter using our digital line analysis system.
After your adjustment, we have you rest for 15 minutes in one of our Human Touch® zero-gravity chairs. This allows your nervous system to rest, adapt to the correction that was made, and help your body maintain alignment.
We are a true family practice, focusing on pre- and postnatal care and pediatrics, as well as care for every member of the family. Some common conditions we see include
- ADD/ADHD
- Behavior issues
- Dizziness
- Headaches
- Migraines
- Pregnancy issues
- Sleep problems
- Sports injuries/performance
- Tinnitus
- Tongue/lip ties
- Vertigo
Frequently Asked Questions
When proper communication does not occur, symptoms may arise. This may include heat, swelling, pain, tenderness, tingling, burning, and much more. As chiropractors, we remove nervous system interference, allowing the communication between the brain and body to flow freely.
